and What We Need Next

Save Cintra Woods lawn signs in yards across New Hope, Pennsylvania

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

What started as a few conversations and an idea to preserve New Hope’s historic open space has become a movement. Thanks to you, Save Cintra Woods has made waves in the community and we’re just getting started, but we need your help to keep the momentum alive!

  1. Yard Signs Across New Hope & Lambertville

Our signs now line streets throughout the borough, a strong example of how much our community cares about what’s left of our historic open spaces.

If you don’t have a yard sign, email us today and a volunteer will drop one by! Prefer a window sign? We have 11x17″ posters too. Or print your own.

  2. A Full Room at Borough Meetings

Due to this incredible visibility, supporters have been showing up and speaking out at the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), the Planning Commission, the Parks & Recreation Board, the Shade Tree Commission, and Borough Council itself. Our town leaders are hearing from the community, loud and clear.

Join us at the upcoming Planning Commission meeting and tell our Borough leaders how important New Hope’s historic open space really is:

    Next Meeting

    Monday, October 19

    6:30 to 8:30 PM

    Planning Commission Public Meeting
New Hope Borough Hall, 123 New Street

  3. Hundreds of Petition Signatures

Neighbors from every corner of New Hope and Lambertville have added their names, and the number keeps growing. If you haven’t signed yet, join us in the fight to save the woods.

    Sign the Petition
  4. Generous Support

We’re grateful for every donation, large and small. Your support has paid for signs and printed materials, legal fees, and the everyday costs of working to preserve this important piece of land. Make a donation

Every sign, signature, donation, and seat filled at a meeting tells our Borough leaders that New Hope wants this decision made with care. Thank you for standing with us.

We’re Not Done Yet.

With gratitude,

The Save Cintra Woods Team

Artist’s rendering of the historic Cintra mansion in New Hope, Pennsylvania

Setting the Record Straight

The developer is now promoting a plan to rebuild the Cintra mansion and divide it into smaller homes, presenting this as a way of honoring the property’s past. We see it differently.
